Beef Fry

Ingredients:
  • Beef - 1.5 pounds
  • Green Chillies - 4 chopped into small pieces
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tbspn
  • Curry Leaves - 4
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tbspn
  • Coriander Powder - 2 tbspn
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tspn
  • Pepper Powder - 1 tspn
  • Garam Masala Powder - 2 tspn
  • Onion - 1 Big
  • Coconut pieces (optional)

Method:

Wash the beef real well and strain of all the water completely.

Take a pan. Once the pan is hot add the spices like coriander, chilli, turmeric, pepper & garam masala powder (Without Oil). Heat all the spices together till an aroma comes. Take it off the gas.

Add all these spices to the beef. Add the ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, green chillies and salt for taste.

Cook the beef mixture in a pressure cooker. After the first whistle cook for another 12 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter add onions an saute till brown. Then add coconut pieces and saute till light brown. Then add the cooked beef and saute it till the gravy is completely dried up.

Enjoy the beef fry with appam, rotis, rice.
